The tenant commissioner for the Housing Authority of the Town of Glastonbury ("GHA") has resigned. GHA is seeking tenants or Housing Choice Voucher holders who are interested in serving on the GHA Board of Commissioners to fill this vacancy.
GHA tenants or Housing Choice Voucher holders may petition for an election of a tenant commissioner. The petition must have 58 signatures to call for an election and the petition must be received before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Individuals interested in being considered as a candidate for tenant commissioner must submit their interest in writing to the Executive Director by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
If a petition for election is not received the appointing authority (Town Council) will select the appointee.
