The Hebert T Clark House is a frail elderly community that consists of two separate properties. The Congregate Community, 45 Canione Road, and the Herbert T Clark Assisted Living Community, 43 Canione Road. The On-Site Assistant Property Manager is responsible for ongoing administrative and operational assistance to the Director in areas including leasing, resident relations, rent collection, applications and maintenance work order tracking at the Hebert T Clark House. The duties also include directing information flow by handling phone and walk-in inquiries, responding quickly to in-house emergency calls (i.e. call for aid, fire alarms), coordinating community activities, administrative duties and various special assignments. The individual must be able to relate positively with the residents, volunteers, family members and staff.
The position requires an energetic person with exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task in an environment that contains frequent interruptions. A proficiency in Microsoft word, excel and outlook is required. A willingness to perform other duties as assigned and adjust workflow to meet the needs of the community.
The hours of the position are Monday through Friday from 8:00a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. The incumbent is required to remain in the Community during their shift and is paid for a half-hour break.

Recreation Coordinator Herbert T Clark House

The Recreation Coordinator under the general direction of the Director of the Herbert T Clark House organizes and supervises recreational, cultural, educational and health/wellness programs for seventy frail older adults. Recreation Coordinator interacts directly with frail seniors, volunteers, instructors, and the general public. Conducts recreation activities with assigned groups: Organizes, promotes, and develops interest in activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, games, music, dramatics, social recreation, and hobbies. Cooperates with other staff members in conducting community wide events and works with staff to determine recreation interests and needs of the residents .
