Recent Activities

Hebert T. Clark Congreagete was awarded $3 million in funding to renovate the property, which was developed in 1991. This is the third funding award in GHA's property preservation and sustanibility efforts.

After a successful redevelopment of Village Green, completed in 2014, GHA enagaged on an ambitious plan to redevelop Center Village. Center Village was the second step in GHA's efforts to reposition its assets and preserve and expand affordable housing opportunities in the community. Center Village construction completed in Novmeber 2018. Herbert T. Clark Congregate's funding award will have a closing with DOH in hopes of work commencing in early Spring 2020.

The Housing Authority continues to look for Welles Village residents interested in participating in the Resident Advisory Board (RAB). The RAB helps the Authority develop its policies by providing resident input. Items the RAB helps to produce are the Annual Plan, Five Year Plan, Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy and more. Please contact the Authority if you are interested in serving.
